Our Story
BUILT FROM THE GROUND UP
Open Air Logistics was founded in 2004 by a team of freight veterans who believed the industry could do better. Too many shippers were left chasing down their cargo, dealing with missed windows, and getting passed around call centers. We set out to fix that.
Starting with a single lane between Chicago and Dallas, we grew by doing one thing exceptionally well — showing up on time, every time. That reputation spread. Carriers wanted to work with us. Shippers trusted us with their most critical freight. Twenty years later, we cover 48 states with a network built on relationships, not just contracts.
Today we're one of the most reliable freight brokers and carriers in the continental United States. But our operating philosophy hasn't changed: treat every shipment like it's the only one that matters.
